Robert has extensive banking experience covering corporate relationship management, finance and credit risk. He has hands on experience of developing and implementing policy and procedures for sustainable lending in Standard Chartered Bank, a multi-national bank operating in the Emerging Markets and for the Bank’s adoption of the Equator Principles. Robert has developed Environmental and Social Risk eLearning programmes and run workshops on the subject across the Bank’s wide network. He was both Treasurer (2005/7) and Chair (2008/9) of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEPFI).

Robert develops and delivers credit risk and sustainability training. He is involved in the development of sustainable policy and procedure and people development in the sustainability field. Robert has facilitated on Executive Development programmes for Cambridge University’s Judge Business School and the London Business School and on workshops run on behalf of UNEPFI, WWF and Standard Chartered Bank amongst others.
