Carey is Managing Director of Sustainable Finance Advisory and operates at the interface between finance, business and society. Working particularly in emerging markets, Carey raises awareness and builds capacity to deliver a balanced approach between economic development and sustainable development.

Her work includes advising and facilitating complex multi-stakeholder engagement processes, sector initiatives, CEO roundtables and workshops. She has established a track record of building and driving successful partnerships, teams and projects across geographical and cultural divides in over twenty-five OECD and emerging market countries.

For the last 8 years, Carey has primarily focused on the financial services sector, including delivering a wide range of training programs along with the development and implementation of sustainable finance strategies, policies, procedures and tools. Carey has advised commercial banks, investment banks, development finance institutions, central banks, private equity houses, insurance providers, government organisations and non-governmental organisations.

Prior to her work as a sustainable finance consultant, Carey practiced corporate law with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Securitisations.
