Chintal is committed to balancing economic growth with environmental and social responsibility. She facilitates multi-stakeholder dialogue and processes to deliver meaningful transformation.

Chintal works with leaders in multinational companies, governments and NGOs in developed and emerging economies to co-create commercially viable sustainable solutions. She facilitates workshops, roundtables, delivers training and leads project teams to achieve shared aspirations and goals.

As an associate with Sustainable Finance Advisory, Chintal was the Project Director for the Sustainable Ship Recycling Initiative in Bangladesh and the Project Director and co-author of the report Environmental and Social Risk Due Diligence in the Financial Sector: Current Approaches and Practices, commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the OECD. Outside SFA she works with the Nigerian government to strengthen resolve and capacity on climate action across all sectors of the economy.

Prior to SFA Chintal was in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Sustainability and Climate Change team, during which she was a Project Manager for DFID’s Climate and Development Knowledge Network and Business Innovation Facility. After PwC she spent several months in India conducting research for the Better Cotton Initiative; interviewing farmers and big brand retailers on environmental and social issues.

Chintal started her career with Accenture providing business advice to multinational companies, where she delivered training to teams across Europe and the US. She went on to complete a Masters in Globalisation at UCL as a stepping-stone to an impact-orientated career.
