Kaidi supports businesses to increase financial value while addressing the environmental and social impacts of their activities. She firmly believes that businesses cannot remain independent to socio-environmental challenges that affect communities in which they operate; given the symbiotic three way relationship between having a successful businesses, preserving the integrity of the environment and ensuring human well-being and prosperity.

Her projects focus mainly on developing Sustainability Agendas for corporate institutions, to which she promotes a three tier approach – understanding key global megatrends, identifying inherent environmental and social exposures, and realigning business strategies to reduce E&S risks and create more resilient businesses.

Kaidi has a specific interest in driving sustainability awareness in the financial sector given the pivotal role the sector plays towards sustainable economic growth. In this regard, she has supported banks to design and implement Environmental and Social Risk Management systems which serve as the cornerstone for building sustainable banking operations. She has both designed E&S Risk Systems and facilitated knowledge building sessions at the Nigerian Sustainable Banking and other industry focused collaborative platforms.

As a proponent of the Shared Value initiative, she incorporates this concept in her approach to designing sustainability strategies and defining Corporate Social Responsibility priorities for various institutions.

Prior to working in field of corporate sustainability, Kaidi launched her career as a Management Consultant with KPMG Advisory where she built competencies in strategy development, organisational design, operational efficiency and performance management. She has an MBA in Sustainability Management from Fundaçaõ Getulio Vargas Business School, Brazil; an MSc Sustainable Development from HEC Paris, France; and a BA (Hons) French from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
